Today is Christian's birthday. He is 33 years old....2 more years and he'll be as old as me...oh wait..that means I'll be 37 by then...ugh that much closer to the dreaded 40.
You know...when I was 15 and my cousins were 30 I thought they were so old! I used to tease them and call them ANCIENT...well crap...I'm ancient now aren't I? The funny thing is that 35 isn't old. I don't feel old...I don't think I look that old yet....I think I'm pretty lucky that I took some of my mother's genes and look younger than some of my friends.
We (Christian) and I went out to dinner tonight with Saren & Michael. (C's sis and her DH) We went to eat at a place called Goodwood. It's pretty good. I tried something I've never had and it was o.k....I should always just get what I like. I enjoy things better that way.
Afterwards we went walking around Costco. Isn't that exciting?? We get a chance to go out and we go to Costco. BOY are we fun! LOL I guess when you live in Utah and you are LDS there isn't much to do is there? We don't drink, we don't smoke...so we walk around stores. All kidding aside, I don't mind. I like Costco.
We had a girl from church babysit the kids. Her name is Sarah and she brought her friend with her. They were nice girls and the kids did great with them. I'm actually impressed that Reagan did as well as she did. I brought them about 1/2 hr early so she could get acclimated and she did. By the time we left she let one of them hold her while I was in the room. She didn't cry while we were gone and she had fun dancing with them while watching Charlie & The Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp. Reagan LOVES that movie. She loves to dance to the music. :) She's a riot.
So that was our night. We finished it off by watching The Parent Trapp with the kids.
Tomorrow Saren & her family will come over for tacos and cake :) We're going to the zoo on Monday since the kids don't have school so I'll get some new pictures of the kids while we are there and post them. We're going with Saren and 3 of her boys so I'll get some pics of all the kids :)
