Summertime

So the kids have been out of school now for a few weeks. They have been putzing around the house, watching t.v., asking for playdates and coloring.
I wish there was more to do but of course you need money to do that. One thing I am lacking....oh well..

Tuesday & Thursday mornings I have a Scrapbook class going on. I sent flyers around the neighborhood and have at least 8-10 girls coming to my house 2 days a week. I charge them $6 and they go home with a cute layout. It's been fun for me and them and I am able to make a little extra money to help with bills and take the kids to McDonald's once in awhile.
I'm planning on holding 2 a month for adults as well. I just need to make a flyer for it and pass it around.

This past Friday Reagan turned 2 years old. 2 years...where did the time go?? It seems like just yesterday we had our little miracle and now she's 2. No more baby, no more bottles...yes she's still in a diaper and I don't mind about that.
She is growing and learning so quickly. She is saying more words and trying to put them together. She adores her brother & sister too. Her favorite words these past few weeks is "Jimmy". She adores him!!!

We are celebrating her birthday this coming Sunday when Grandma comes up for the 4th of July wknd. We aren't doing anything big. Just family and our friends Dave & Brooke :)
I'm going to attempt to make a Dora cake for her. That should be interesting!!

I finally made a friend too!!! Let me explain. Of course I have friends...but I'm in a different realm of the friends I have. I have a 2 year old and their youngest is 7. I can't do everything they do because I still have to deal with naps and crankiness, etc. It's hard for me to take her places becasue she won't sit still. It's sucked.
I met Brooke..she's a wife of a guy that Christian works with. She's super nice and has a 5 yr old and a 2 1/2 yr old. We get together a few times a week and it's been great. She is 11 years younger than me though. LOL It's ok though...I don't mind about that :)

She and I have made it a thing to go out once a month without the husbands or children and it's been nice....although this Saturday night I got sick later that night. I think the Chinese food got to me. YUCK

Other than that there isn't too much going on over here. I drove by the kids new school last week and all the metal framing is up. It's been kind of neat watching it being built. I hope we enjoy their new school and I hope they make new friends :)

I'll post some new pictures after the weekend is over. I'm sure I'll be taking tons of pics. I actually took some of today when Reagan went in her pool but I'm waiting to post them.
