Aberdeen, Scotland

I thought I'd update my blog a little bit. Christian, Reagan, Alex and I have been in Aberdeen, Scotland for a week now. Christian is being offered a position as a Field Service Manager out here and the company sent us here so I could see if I liked it enough to live here. We couldn't bring Emalee and Jimmy with us. It would have been too much money :( So they are back in Utah with their Grandma :)

We left Utah and flew to Detroit, Michigan. From there we flew to the Netherlands and then from there to Aberdeen.

We were picked up from our house around 4:30 am Monday and got to Scotland around 8:20 am Tuesday. It was a very long trip. Reagan and Alex did pretty good. Reagan had attitude issues here and there but for the most part they did ok. They didn't sleep very well so by the time we got to the hotel they were out. We ate downstairs while our room was getting ready and they slept in the restaurant.

We didn't do much that day. We all fell asleep for about 4 hours or so and just hung out at the hotel.

The next few days we drove to the school the kids would go to and then we went to the Malls, grocery stores, Costco, downtown, and we saw many Castles! :)

It's beautiful here. I wasn't sure what to expect even though I had seen Christian's pictures from when he came...it is simply beautiful!!

Alex and Reagan are out of sorts. They get grumpy, they are up late and the past 2 nights Alex has had screaming fits after he falls asleep. Luckily last night only lasted under 5 minutes. It sure seems longer though.

We have 2 days left and we're not sure what we're going to do. We'll figure something out though.
