A really cool bird. Not sure what kind it is though.

Isn't he just too cute ? I just had to take this one of him.

I love Penguins!

Checking out them.

Alex stood here and watched the penguins swim in and out of the water for at least 15 minutes. It was fun watching his expressions. Such a fun age!

More Penguins! A really cool exhibit.

Emalee , Reagan & Jimmy checking out the Penguins

Alex & Emalee watching the Penguins. They would come up to the window and look at the kids

Alex pointing at the Penguins. He was talking to them.

Alex & Christian. Alex saw the monkeys start swinging from vines and he started cracking up. It was really funny.
Finally made it over to the zoo. We've been wanting to go since we moved over but something always came up and we just hadn't gone. Not to mention that the Zoo is in Edinburgh and it's a 2 hour drive. The weather was beautiful and we had a good day. Alex had a few meltdowns but he's 2 (almost) and doesn't always want to sit down in his buggy.
The zoo overall was o.k., def not the San Diego Zoo or the Los Angeles Zoo (which isn't good anyway). Much bigger than Utah's Hogle Zoo though. We could do that one in an hour, this one took about 3. I must say that the food was really horrid but the Penguin Exhibit was by far the best one I have ever seen. I think that was my favorite part as well as Alex's. He LOVED watching the Penguins go in and out of the water. It was really cute to watch.
We stopped by McDonald's on the way home for dinner and we saw 2 other families that the kids new. It's the only McDonald's on the way to Edinburgh that is on the main dual carriage-way and it gets quite busy. Luckily we found enough seats so we could eat there.

The penguins were always our favorite there.
Looks like a good time. Zoos are usually always worth seeing and this one sounds like it was a fun.
