Been a while..

I haven't made a post in awhile and it's mainly because nothing has been going on. I haven't really taken any pictures and we haven't gone anywhere. You could say that life is just moving like it were back in Utah. The kids have school, we have church and we have our lives. Obviously the only thing still missing is family to spend time with.
I'd like to think that our new friend's the West's that moved over in January are like our family. We invite them over for Sunday dinner quite a bit and we really enjoy their company. Alex has really taken a liking to their little boy Andrew and he'll ask to go and play with him several times.
Christian had taken a few weeks off to wind down from his deployment that they just finished. When a rig is running he is on call 24/7 and that is no joke, his phone rings whenever and wherever and he has to be available to take the calls and emails that come through. We had to delay Christmas morning by about an hour while he did his morning calls. NOT a fun thing to do.
While he was home I was able to go to the gym at least 3 days a week and not take Alex to the Creche (daycare) there. Though that was a good thing it kind of messed Alex up and now he cries when we go there....not a good thing! Hopefully he'll get used to it again but I have really enjoyed going. I can almost run 2 miles now.
Grandma comes over this Tuesday for 2 weeks. The kids will be on Easter Holiday Break and we are really looking forward to spending time with her. I'm not sure what we are going to do while she is here but I'm sure we'll figure places out to go. Of course the forecast is showing snow this week when we need it to be Sunny and or just grey with no rain. So we'll see what this week brings us.
The kids are growing and learning. Reagan is the one that is coming out with the Scottish accent and it is just too cute! There are several words that have the "R" sound that makes her sound Scottish. If we are here for another year for sure she will be talking like that all the time. I can't wait! I'm hoping that when Alex starts Nursery this coming January that he'll start getting the accent as well.
I will try and take some pictures this week. The Dandelions are coming up everywhere and I will def take pictures of those. They are so pretty and are throughout the city!

YOU ARE OUR FAMILY AS WELL! (tear, sniff, sniff...) Hah! Seriously, Mike and I have had multiple conversations about how we are so grateful for you guys because, really, you do feel like our family here in Scotland and really, you are! So...thanks!!! We LOVE YOU! (that is said with all the awkward cheesiness you can imagine!)
