A Wee Update of Sorts

I think most people who have blogs tend to slack from time to time. I really have no reason other than being lazy. I've taken pictures so that's not the issue.....
Back in February when I went back to Utah I was at our ward in Orem and I was sitting in Sacrament meeting and I had this really strong impression that it was time to take our kids back home. It was the strongest feeling that I can remember. I really didn't say anything until a few days after I returned to Aberdeen then told Christian how I felt. He prayed about it for about a week and had the same impression so we started the wheels in motion.
It wasn't as easy as we had hoped. I guess we really didn't think it would be an issue but there were technical issues that had to be worked out, jobs to be applied for, interviews, hiring, and then the whole relocation issue and repatriation. So here it is the 2nd week of June and we are still here. We are all anxious to get back home though I am really going to miss it here. We have established roots here and we have made some strong friendships that we will miss.
We are going to hear from the Relocation company this afternoon and then the wheels will be in motion. They have to then contact the moving company here in Aberdeen and we have to hope that they won't all be booked. Christian has a start date of July 1st where we are put back on the normal pay schedule so we are hoping this all gets done before then or it will have to be extended.
So let's hope that we are able to get a slot within the next two weeks. We also have to get airline tickets booked and transport for Gemma as well.
3 of 4 kids are still in school and are waiting for me to say it's their last day. The official last day of school is July 1st, but we are really hoping to be gone before then.
So that is my update of sorts. It will be nice to be near our family again and be able to go to things when they happen, BUT it's going to be really hard for me to leave here. Go figure since it was me who started this whole thing :)
