A Good Weekend

This past weekend I was able to fly down to LA for my Uncle Phillip's retirement party. Christian had some frequent flyer miles and he watched the kids so I could go and see my family. My Father's family which I had not seen in ages!!
There weren't as many people as I would have liked to see, but I was able to see some cousins that I really haven't spent any time with. I am the youngest grandchild on that side of the family. The oldest one has to be my Father's age....63 or so...so now I'm an adult and not a little kid wanting to talk to the cool teenagers!
It was nice being an adult around them all.

I took a small scrapbook to show off my 3 kids and they all thought they were beautiful :) I wish I could have taken them but it was too hard and we couldn't afford it.

I stayed at my Father's and Step-Mother's house (where I grew up) which was odd. The house does NOT look like it did way back when...I haven't lived there for 12 years now and it shows!!

My step-mother took me to In N Out and it was GOOD!! MMMMMMMMMMMm I wish I could have another one now...and we went to Kohl's where she bought the kids and I some sweaters :) That was nice.

Christian did great with the kids and I was so happy when I got into the baggage claim and I saw Reagan's huge smile because her "Momma" was home :)

It's fun to go away but better to be home :)
