It's been awhile again...

Just like journaling I am bad at blogging. I guess I don't have much to say most of the time that I think people would be interested in reading.

My last post was back at the beginning of November I think...So I'll give an update of the happenings around here.

We drove down to CA for Thanksgiving and had a great time. I love going down there and seeing family and friends. Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful as usual. My MIL makes the best T.G. Dinner! We had a baked turkey and a fried turkey and then all the sides that go with it.

My SIL and her family went down as well so it was a pretty crowded house! 6 adults and 7 children in a 1300 square ft house is pretty tight. Did I mention that we took our dog on the 10 hr drive? Well yes we did! She had issues getting out of the yard and so we took her. Katie was put in a kennel for the week and did fine there.

Emalee turned 8 on Dec. 1st. Christian's parents came up for her baptism and we also had a party for her afterwards. 8 little girls came to her party and they had so much fun. she got lots of fun stuff :)

Christmas came just as fast and the kids had a blast. Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Brandon (my BIL) came up and spent 1/2 the time at our house and the other 1/2 at my SIL's house. The kids got all kinds of stuff and I havne't seen them play with much of it! LOL

My brother and his girlfriend drove up the day after Christmas. They were here for 4 days and we had a nice visit. They got more toys of course! We took them to Temple Square and up American Fork Canyon so they could see the snow.

Christian has been home for quite awhile it seems. They pulled him out of Canada so he could go to travel to Scotland a week before Christmas for offshore rig training.
He loved it there and has some cool pictures from there. I'll try to find them and post them.

He has to work at least 55 hr wks so we can survive though and that stinks. Rumor has it that he is maybe going to Norway sometime in February but he could just stay here and work in the office. We aren't quite sure yet.

We're in the process of trying to get the kids into a Charter School for next year. We can't stand the math that the kids are being taught. The Charter School's here teach Saxon Math and that's what we want them to learn. They would be wearing uniforms!! :) Very happy about that. We should know by March if they are accepted.

Reagan is doing great. She is learning more words each day. It's so cute to hear her.
Her favorite movies are Toy Story 1 & 2 and The Little Mermaid. She loves Finding Nemo too. She is a movie addict!

I've been working on some scrapbook stuff that I want to try and sell on ebay so we'll see how that one goes. ?
I also need to get my CTMH stuff going. I haven't done too much with that. I think my SIL is going to have a party in Feb. We'll see how that goes.
