Well Christmas is over. I suppose overall it was a good day MINUS the fact that C was gone for most of it.
We found out a week ago that he had to leave for Singapore on Christmas Day. How does that suck??
There was a guy out there and he was having "family" problems and had to come home...what does that mean? Well C is the only one they can send out to replace him that doesn't need any type of training....
Now that's GREAT, they can depend on him, they trust him, they know he can get the job done and have it be right.SURE....BUT on Christmas Day?
I'm grateful that he was home for the morning and he got to see the kids open their gifts and help they put things together and all BUT he missed Christmas Dinner and he missed being with family. That's the sucky part.
Poor Reagan understood this time and cried so hard when he had to leave. It was so sad. So it's 8:25 on Tuesday and he's still in the air or at least that is what the flight info says "departed". Shouldn't it say "in flight" ?
Guess he'll call this afternoon when he lands in Singapore...but I can't talk to him until tomorrow sometime because he can't use a phone in Myanmar...nice huh? Limited talking. Gotta love that.
He'll be on a drilling ship for 3 weeks and won't come home until around Jan 15th. Happy New Year!!!
Can you tell I'm bitter?? Maybe just a little. I'll post some Christmas pictures later on.
