Only a few days old here.. Emalee Sara Dean 01 Dec 1997

12 years ago today our lives as parents began. After 27 hours of labour which then resulted in an emergency C-Section out came our first born, Emalee Sara Dean. Emalee came out with a bruised face and her first black eye. Seems that she was trying to get out the wrong way and kept pushing her face against the exit.
Due to the nature of the birth and the complications I wasn't able to hold Emalee until the next evening and when I did I instantly fell in love.
Emalee is a special girl. Not only is she our first child but also the first Grandchild on both sides. She's a great daughter and she's turning into a lovely young lady. She makes the right choices and is a great big sister. She just went into Young Women's at church and I know she'll be a great example to those around her.
