Spring time

It's what you would call Spring here in Aberdeen...well the flowers are blooming which is why I say that. The weather is what you would expect here. There are days of sunshine, rain, grey skies, etc. I would say a good part of the time you need at least a light weight jacket and maybe a hoodie or something to that effect. Don't try wearing sandals out yet or your toes will be a wee bit cold.
Driving around the countryside you can see the fields are all turning the beautiful shade of green. The sheep are almost all out now and they have their little babies running along side them. It is my favourite time of year here in Scotland. I enjoy it here all the time but Spring has to be one of my two favourite times, the other being Fall. Love when everything starts turning Orange!

Things here are moving along quickly. We are in our last term at school. That is hard to believe. In a few weeks Emalee will advance to S2 which is quite odd. They start their next grade towards the end of May so when August hits they just continue with S2. Hard to believe that she'll be in 8th grade when she is only 12 years old still. How odd is that ?
Jimmy is doing well in school he has a best friend called Joe. They try and play a few times a week.
Reagan is doing really well. I can't believe how well she reads. It may just be my bad memory but I don't remember the other kids reading this well before they were done with kindergarden. She can read just about all her Dr Seus books and she is starting to read Junie B Jones. There are some words she can't get but she's doing great!!
Alex is 2 1/2 as of today. Can't believe in 6 months he'll be 3 years old. Where did my little baby boy go ? He's now a little boy. His language skills improve daily and he says the funniest things. We really have to watch what we say around this wee guy. He's slowly coming along at the creche (daycare) at the gym. I can probably stay my full hour as of next week which will be nice.

Christian and I started a new way of eating and in doing so we've both lost about 9 lbs. Can't tell as much on me than him since he hardly had to loose anything and I have 4 kids of weight to loose. Hopefully by summer I'll be down about 15 and ready for summer in Utah and California.
We have our tickets done and our hotels booked in Vegas and in Anaheim. We're camping in Ojai for 3 nights with the James' side of the family and we're ready for some constant sunshine and heat! I know I will be complaining of how hot it is and so ready to come back home to Scotland where I have to wear shoes and socks all the time.

I have a few pictures to put up from one of my walks but I have yet to upload them. Maybe this weekend.
