Jimmy asked for a chocolate cake from Costco so that's what we got him. Emalee tried to talk him into an ice cream cake but he wouldn't budge.
I had to put this one (above) up. If you note Alex's face and stance he is mad that he can't open the presents. He was not a happy boy and of course didn't understand why he couldn't have one.
Jimmy turns 11 tomorrow the 11th and we had a wee celebration for him this past Sunday night. We had Christian's boss and his wife over (who are moving to the Netherlands soon :( ) and our friends the West's over for Jimmy's favourite meal = Enchiladas.
Remind me to never make those on a Sunday night for that many people. Not a good thing. I was a bit stressed to get it done because it took longer than I thought it would.
He had a good time and that's all that counts.
He didn't really ask for much. He wanted two DS games which we got and his Grandma/Grandpa got for him and he wanted some legos and we got him some of those as well. Christian also found these cool wall decals like Fat Heads but they weren't called those...anyway, they were of Super Mario Brothers. He really liked those. Once we get them up I'll take some pictures. He also got a puffle and a new pencil box and the book for one of the DS games that he got. He also got a $40 gift voucher for when we go to Disneyland. He was excited about that as well.

Yeah you were! He was clearly pitching a fit because he wanted the presents!

Oh, the fit with not having presents will continue on into the 3rd year as we've discovered. Not fun.
Had to do a double take on the picture with Reagan watching Jimmy open presents. It looked like Emalee about 7-8 years ago!!!
