Alex started a new school since we moved back home. It's the same pre-school that Reagan went to when she was his age. It's run by a wonderful woman in our ward. It's right across the street from our house which makes it VERY convenient. She only had a spot for a afternoon session and I believe he is with the kids that are about 6 months younger than him, but he doesn't care. Here he is playing with his new friend Kyle that is in our ward. He will go to Kinder with him.
Here he is walking up the driveway. He's wearing Jimmy's old Ninja Turtle backpack that he wore in Kinder ages ago. He thought he was pretty cool.
I always take the kids school photos right in front of this tree. Have been doing it since we moved into the house in 2005. Now we have our last kid going through the process.
His school is called Discovery Preschool. This sign is new to us and I think a welcome addition. She has such a cute garden and a playset for the kids to play on. It's not Cults Nursery, and it's not fee but it's a good environment for him to be in. He will have to go an extra year of preschool since the cutoff date for Kinder is September 1 and his birthday is October 30. In some ways I wish we would have stayed that extra time for him to at least start school there. He'd be going to P1 with all his friends in 2012 :( A bit sad about that one.
