Settling In

We've been back home for almost 3 months now and for the most part we have settled back into our lives here in Utah. It took almost 8 weeks for us to get our shipment and we were anxiously awaiting for it to get here. It took us a bit to get it all unpacked and it was a bit tiresome but when it was all said and done we were happy to be back in our house.
Prior to moving in we did some changes to the house. The Arledge's had painted some of the rooms but we wanted to paint a few more. The room we decided to claim as ours was a teal/grey colour and we didn't really like it so we painted it a green shade. Christian installed some linoleum flooring and molding which came out really nice. I painted our bathroom a Pumpkin color. Sounds kind of weird but it came out pretty good. I also painted Emalee's room. It was in dire need of a paint job!

The scenery of Aberdeen will be greatly missed. I miss the pretty weeds and the grapeseed Oil that you see throughout the fields of Scotland. We don't have that here, but we do have the Mountains which are turning a nice color with Fall just around the corner.
I miss Aberdeen, I miss my friends, I miss our great house. It's a different lifestyle there and I didn't realize how much I fell in love with it there. It's been really hard for me to adjust to being back. I don't have as many friends and pretty much hang out with Alex. Good thing he's a great kid :D
