| Walnut High School - What a great High School it was. I'm sure it still is. Very good memories for my 4 years. |

| This is a view from my old house looking down the street. Good memories of riding down the hill on bikes and skateboards. It was a great neighborhood. |
For Spring Break this year I decided that the kids and I needed to take a trip and visit some friends in California. We stayed with my brother and Vicki and we were able to visit my Uncle Phillip and Aunt Gina and my Nina and cousin Jasmine. We were also able to visit with my very good friend Jen and her family. The kids had a blast and we also were able to go to Disneyland. The weather had gotten to be a bit dodgy on the way from CA to UT so after much contemplation we decided to head to Northridge and stayed with our good friends for a few nights. That was a great idea because the kids had so much fun.
While we were there I took the kids to Walnut where I grew up and I was able to show them my house and schools I went to.

| This is the famous Liquorette. It was close enough to ride our bikes or walk and we would go there and buy candy or gum or ice cream. It's a small strip mall that also had a library, sporting goods shop , barber, and the best pizza place. |

| This is my childhood home. It almost looks the same. The new owners really made the yard different. It was weird seeing it after all these years. I saw the woman who lived there and it was just weird. | | |
