Alexander

So you won't always get pictures of places we go. It's still my blog to post this or that...
An update on Alexander. He is 17 months now and quite the character. He's actually quite the pain in the butt. He is awful to take to the stores. He lasts all but 10 mintues then throws these awful fits! The other kids weren't like that but he's his own person. We are trying to get him out of it..

He's really smart too. Jimmy really didn't start talking until he was 2 years old and Alex isn't even 1 1/2 yet and he can say so many words...mom, dad, up, down, no, Em, Jim, Rea, pizza, cheese, juice, tree, please, mine, hi, cookie, cracker, sponge bob, bubble, cup, buzz, outside, dog, cat, don't, boob, me...that's 27 words and I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of right now.....he's starting to put 2 words together which is pretty good for a boy

He still doesn't sleep well at night but you could probably blame me still nursing him for that. I need to figure out how to wean him and frankly I'm not too sure how to do that...

So anyway....that's my update on Alex....

Tell me about it hehe. Zoe is still nursing at 2 years old. I didn't have to wean the girls, because they self weaned at 15 and 14 months. It's still important to Zoe, and since the global average weaning age is like 4 or 5, I'm not too worried just yet. But I'm not sure if she'll ever wean on her own. I may have to get a book about it.
Interestingly, she's been really advanced with language too, and I have read that extended breastfeeding is linked with excelling in speech development.
