Nothing too exciting....

Nothing really exciting has been going on but I realized I hadn't posted anything since Jimmy's birthday.
So far 3 of the 4 kids have been sick. I think Alex got it the worse. He had a 103.2 fever and that really scared me.  Luckily it only lasted a day and now he's got the awful hacking cough with a ton of phlem.  Green snot too so he can't really be around anyone right now.  I think Reagan's isn't as bad but she's still coughing quite a bit.  I'm waiting for me to start coughing too.

Last week we went with a friend to a really nice park.  It is the biggest park so far that I have seen. It's called Hazlehead park.  Lots of play equipment and beautiful gardens.  They also have a nice little cafe where we had a sandwich and some chips. I have heard there is a petting zoo there as well as a beautiful rose garden when in season.  We will go again soon so Christian and the other kids can see it.

I've gotten more comfortable with driving here.  When I am by myself or with the kids I am not nervous and don't seem to do anything wrong...BUT when  C is in the car I get nervous and always panick and do something off.  I try not to drive with him!!

Reagan started nursery last week and of course  has missed all this week because she is sick.  Bummed about that one. But she did like the 1 day that she went.  It looks like a great place for her and the best part is that it is free!!

Emalee got her information for the Academy that she'll be attending for Secondary school. A few of her friends are  in her "house" (think Harry Potter).  We went and looked at the uniforms she'll get to wear. Cool blazer that is 30 bp and a neat v neck sweater with tie.

I'll have to start looking for uniforms for Jim & Reagan too.  Not going to be cheap for 3 kids.

The weather has been on and off.  From what I have seen this is how it's going to be here. Sunny one day, rainy the next.

Christian's mom is coming out in July for a month. We are all very excited about that and are trying to figure out what to take her to see when she gets here.  There are so many places to go.

Alex is talking up a storm. He copies whatever we say. It's fun to have him say words.
