We weren't sure about Halloween this year. The kids wanted to go out but I wasn't sure how many kids actually go out so we opted to stay in and see how things were.
The kids dressed up for Alex's party so at least they got to do that. While I was at Stake Conf some of Emalee's friends came by and she ended up going out with them. She said you had to tell a joke or sing a song for people to give you candy. She thought that was funny.
Christian said there were actually quite a few people that came around. Mostly were Emalee's age or a little older though so it's def different here. Alex was sleeping during the pictures so I didn't get a picture with his costume on :(

The kids look so cute in their costumes. Is Emilee wearing some old family heirlooms? :)
Christian bought me the dress when he went to Mexico a few years ago. The Sombrero is from some restaurant back home. LOL
I miss halloween there. Yeah, the kids have a "trick" before they get their treat. So a song or joke. Often people never ask for it anymore, but I guess maybe in some places they still do. And you get fruit, money and monkey nuts instead of just all candy. And recently they started making little gift bags with candy and stickers and little toys. Here it's all just sugar and colors and more sugar plus some extra colorings...
