Storybook Glen

They have a place in Aberdeen called Storybook Glen. It's a huge area filled with characters from various Children's Fairytale's. I don't know where the Teletubbies fit in for a fairy tale but they are there too as well as Wallace and Gromit! Alex and I went one morning with Emily and Andrew. Poor Emily is 8 months pregnant and she wanted to just get out. I'm not sure if it's worth spending £10 every time we go or not? I did enjoy it as did Alex but I'm not sure if the other kids would more than one time?? I'm still trying to decide if I want to get the annual pass. I think if we had less "soggy" days it would maybe be worth it but the grass was so soggy and the fact that I wore flip flops that day (what was I thinking) didn't help the matter. Anyways, it was a fun day and we had lunch at their little cafe which wasn't so bad.

What have they done to that place? Makes me a little sad, but I guess it's good that they're keeping it updated. I used to go as a kid. There was the little old lady who lived in a shoe and all that jive.
Shrek and Tellytubbies? Oh my.

I know! I was a little shocked that they put all that current stuff...but in saying that I guess they are trying to stay current. It's really a lovely place but my friend has an annual pass and said that there is never anyone there. I don't know how they can afford the up keep ?

I wanted to take Ryan there but never got the chance. Looks like Alex had fun.
